 note = {芹沢銈介作「釈迦十大弟子尊像」（昭和57年）は、彼の本格的な型絵染の最後の作品である。依頼者によりインドの釈迦本堂に納められた墨型絵染と、日本に残された漆型絵染、その２組が存在し、他に縮小版として制作された「釈迦十大弟子尊像」には３種類のヴァリエーションがある。中でも、芹沢作品中唯一の漆による型絵染「釈迦十大弟子尊像」は、芹沢の型絵染に対する飽くなき挑戦を物語っている。本稿では、当時漆の工程を担当した漆職人・佐藤竹治氏の談話および「釈迦十大弟子尊像」の型彫り下絵等を通して、芹沢の型絵染に対する情熱を探る。, In 1982, Serizawa Keisuke completed "Portraits of the Disciples of the Buddha" at 87 years old. One image was stenciled with lacquer and another with India ink. Although these were his last full-scale works, the lacquer-piece was the only lacquer stencil he had ever done. And there are the three variations which did that small size. Particularly through the lacquer stencil, we see Sizawa's insatiable thirst for a challenge. Through a rough sketch of "Portraits of the Disciples of the Buddha" and a story from Mr.Sato, Who helped in work of lacquer, we examine the passion for Serizawa's stencil work.},
