One image was stenciled with lacquer and another with India ink. Although these were his last full-scale works, the lacquer-piece was the only lacquer stencil he had ever done. And there are the three variations which did that small size. Particularly through the lacquer stencil, we see Sizawa's insatiable thirst for a challenge.
